Manipulatives in Geometry
Using manipulative's to teach any type of math makes since, they really give the students the opportunity to see how to solve the problems. The manipulative's help break down the problems for the children, and make them to remember later on. I think that manipulative's will help all ages to do, and remember all sorts of problems. Using them for geometry is a great idea. I used the NLVM (http://nlvm.usu.edu/en/nav/topic_t_3.html) (National library virtual manipulative's) web site to check out different manipulative's for geometry, and found it to be very helpful. They have different manipulative's for different age groups, and they are all virtual so the children get the hands on practice needed for them to remember how/what they are doing.

I am a visual learner who has to walk through math problems time and time again and see many examples. Using math manipulative in the classroom is very helpful and useful to the teacher and the students. I also looked at the website you posted it had many different links and ideas for teachers to use in the classroom. Great resource.
The link is a wonderful resource! I agree that using manipulatives are essential, especially in geometry.
Great Resource. I went in and used it as I am also a visual learner who needs reinforcement of concepts to actually understand the process of them. These manipulatives deepen learning, retention and ehance learning so that students feel connected to the concepts.
